Refurbishment Workshop was a 5-day design studio in the vacant building of Ariston Hotel in Thessaloniki. The studio focused on post-production techniques regarding the reuse of old furniture found in a factory warehouse. The participants practiced and researched on reuse strategies, introducing design studies and scenarios for a future hotel inhabitation.

Produced by Lamb and Lamp in the context of Symbiosis, XV Biennale of Young Creators from Europe and the Mediterranean. Supported by the General Secretariat for Youth, the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
